The CHMS community participated in International Pi Day on March 14th. Pi (Greek letter “π”) is the symbol used in mathematics to represent a constant—the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter—which is approximately 3.14159. The entire staff and student body were assigned the numbers of Pi….then lined up throughout the building to reflect the actual numbers of Pi. We also celebrated Pi Day with various temporary π tattoos and a lunch of pizza pie and whoopie pies! Check out the video of the students making Pi: https://youtu.be/2_sPBpmZ7vE
